●折り敷け! 〔号令〕 Kneel!

・敵兵を発見, 全員折り敷いて銃を構えた. Enemy soldiers were spotted, so all the men went down on one knee and held their guns at the ready.

・細枝や草を集めて折り敷き, 一夜の褥(_しとね)とした. Having collected twigs and grass, we bent them and laid [spread] them on the ground as bedding for the night.
